Philosophy Cupboard Love was launched in 1986 with co-founder Veronica Collens, whose experience includes media and public relations, desk top publishing and layout design. The philosophy that furniture plays an important role in our lives and reflects the way we feel about ourselves influenced the choice of name - Cupboard Love - self appreciative love, which by its nature, extends to everyone around us. Copyright Cupboard Love furniture designs are available for manufacture under licence with exclusive rights to geographic areas. The service includes drawings and scale templates, graphics and web development by CARIBSCAPE for marketing support. Production Cupboard Love furniture, made in Trinidad and Tobago, is crafted by skilled cabinet makers whith extensive knowledge and experience in the choice and use of tropical hard woods. The will to experiment and go beyond the conventional has given way to innovative design/production team thinking and resulting furniture ideas and pieces. Material Cupboard Love furniture is made from Caribbean hard woods that have been naturally dried and chosen for their grains - a feature of the design. Furniture coverings and fabric displayed in this web site are designed by Verena Mostyn. (Fabric may be supplied by the client). The furniture is finished with a coating selected for its properties and colour for optimum protection and feel that make a fine finish!
