Artist Fabric Furniture coverings and fabric seen on this web site are designed by Verena Mostyn, a fabric designer and interior decorator with a Master's Degree in Textile Design from the Royal College of Art, London. Batik Craft Verena Mostyn's creativity in batik design is strongly influenced by her life in the Caribbean, seen through a blending of Caribbean colours and tropical motifs. Verena spent six years in Africa and absorbed a number of techniques in craft which she has introduced into the Caribbean, for example, the blocks which are used in printing the wax onto the fabric.   Fashion Furnishings Verena Batiks label includes batik fabrics, garments, fashion and home accessories, furnishings for hotels and private villas. The fabrics used are 100% natural. Dyes are azo free, environmentally friendly and colourfast. Products also include tablecloths and tableware, curtains, bedspreads, cushions and gift items. Designer Consultation Clients may wish to supply their own fabric or order special colours and designs in consultation with Verena Mostyn.
